Hi! My name is Dee Ann and I’m a lifelong crafter. Growing up on a farm in Colorado was a major influence in my life that provided grounding for my crafting and creative endeavors. Everything on a farm is homegrown and handmade. You learn to make do with what you have – to repair or re-purpose. Most people would be surprised to know farm families were the original DIYers. And I guess I can say that’s why I learned to “make” everything.
When I’m not crafting I enjoy mountain road trips, hiking, theater, genealogy research, and creating memory books. I collect books, plants, and primitives. I live at the foot of Pikes Peak along with my husband and manager, a black cat named Sawyer Dickens Thoreau.
